B.F.G
The purpose of any Audio book is to entertain the listener, it
will have different purposes depending on what type of book that is being read
aloud such as a mystery based book will have to integer the listener. As this
audio book is for young children it is just meant to entertain them on a long
drive.
This product takes
the form of an audio book. It is a very light hearted feel throw out, it’s not
partially silly but the sound effects that are used are obviously aimed towards
children. The chosen style and form has been made with the idea of it for children
and no one else.
The content of the audio book consists of a gentleman in his
older years reading the book B.F.G by Roald Dahl. He reads the book along with
him is some sound effects thrown in every now and then. There is a short piece
of music at the begging of the audio book with bedding music throw out.
This Audio book looks to engage with their young listener by
telling them a well written story with lots of dipper meaning and alternate
meaning.
This story fits in with the genre of adventure.
The target audience for the audio book is the parents of
small children who would like the books. The parents of the children may like
the audio books as well as these books are considered classics.
The audio book the B.F.G is available all the time on
websites such as I tunes and Amazon. As such it can be easy to access at any
time.
This product will have been rather easy. In the
pre-production they would have been looking for voice actors, editors and
distributes. The production will be the voice actor reading out the book in a
recording studio. The post-production will be the editing of the actors reading
out loud. They will also be adding sound effects.
