LO5: Reflection

Areas of strengths based on presenting to Sheffield Live!

I think that my main strength was that I covered all of the topics and talked about all of the details that I needed to to get the key points across to Steve Taylor. I thought that I was very clear about what I was saying and that this showed in how I was speaking.

Areas for improvement based on Sheffield Live! Feedback

I think that my main problem in my presentation was giving an answer to the questions that Steve Taylor asked. "Are you going to get a good audience feedback from listeners even tho they cant see you" This question throw me a bit as it instantly confused me, this was because that I thought that the question was very odd in that I didn't really know where he got that question from that not being seen would be a problem as it is a podcast and no point I talked about showing something. When I looked at the the film back I think I understand the question, what I think he was asking is that because of it being a podcast do I think that I will find it hard to interact with the listener. If that is what he meant then I think I gave an appropriate answer.

As for the other question that where asked I think that I answered them well and gave appropriate response.

How are you going to address the above issues/ improvements?

I think that I will have to give the presentation again to someone else or the same person, but to my understanding the content of the podcast and the idea its self was fine it was just the presentation was the bit I messed up on I think that this was something that I need to practice. I think that the big problem was that I had already come up answers to some question but I think that it was the why he worded his question. But to improve listener interaction I think that I will have to add sound clip, sound affects and bedding music.

What do you still think you need to work on/improve to achieve these for your Audio media product?

I think that I will have to think about more out of the box questions like he asked and be a bit more confidence with my answer.
